Privacy Policy

This page explains what we collect when you shop with CCHome Kitchen, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We keep it simple: we only ask for what we need to get your order to you.

Who we are

CCHome Kitchen is a Bangkok-based ceramics shop. You can reach us using the contact details at the end of this page.

What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, phone number, email, shipping address, and any order notes you provide. Your email is required so we can send you order updates and, if you have an account, sign you in. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we never collect or store your card details.

Why we use it

Solely to process, pack, deliver, and provide support for your order, and to contact you about that order. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

How it is stored

Order data is stored in our secure database with access restricted to the shop owner. Payments are handled by Stripe, our PCI-compliant payment provider; we receive only the payment status and method, never your full card number. Order-related emails are sent through Resend, our email provider.

Accounts

You can checkout as a guest (your order is accessed through the private link sent to you) or create an account with your email and a password, or with Google. An account lets you track orders, save a wishlist, and earn loyalty rewards. Creating an account requires a valid email, which you verify by clicking a link we send you. If you sign in with Google we receive only your name and email. Keep your order links and password private.

Reviews

If you leave a review you provide a name, an optional location, a rating, your text, and any photos you upload. Reviews are checked by us before they appear on the site. Review photos are stored privately and shown through temporary links.

Saved addresses

If you have an account you can save delivery addresses to reuse at checkout. They are tied to your account, visible only to you, and you can edit or delete them at any time from your account.

Cancellation and return requests

When you file a cancel, refund, or return request we store the reason, any details you add, and, for a damage claim, the photos you attach. Request photos are kept privately and shown to us through temporary links, and retained only as long as we need them to handle the claim.

Gift cards

When you buy a gift card we collect the recipient's name and email so we can send them the code, along with your own contact details for the order.

Marketing email

If you sign up for our 10%-off offer we store your email to send you the code and occasional offers. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

Security and hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare and uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-friendly check that helps us tell real visitors from bots, along with rate-limiting to prevent abuse. These help keep your data and our shop safe.

Retention

We keep order records as long as needed for fulfilment, accounting, and legal obligations, then delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us at the address in the contact section below.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date.

Where your data is stored

Some of the trusted services we use (such as Stripe, Supabase, Resend, and Cloudflare) keep data on servers outside Thailand. We only work with providers that look after it properly, and they receive only what they need to do their job. We never sell your information.

Complaints

If you are ever unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can raise it with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC), as well as contacting us directly.

Cookies and storage

We keep this simple. We use a few essential cookies (the ones that keep you signed in and the site secure), and we save your cart, wishlist, and checkout details in your browser's own storage (on your device, not on our servers) so they are there when you come back. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you clear your browser's cookies and site data, you will be signed out and start with an empty cart next time.
